Background:

At initio, Alex brings a robust background in technology and business, with work experience spanning from software development to the Charlottetown Chamber of Commerce. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Dalhousie University. Alex returned to initio after completing the Roman Elster Internship in Intellectual Property and Innovation in 2023, where he researched emerging issues in technology law and policy and developed a strong understanding of the Atlantic Canadian startup ecosystem.

After his first year of law school, Alex worked at a full-service law firm in Charlottetown. He is a lifelong nerd with a keen business acumen and is well-versed in the resources available to startups in the region. Outside of initio, Alex can be found watching sports or running to burn off steam.
